The moment we drove up our wonderful experience started. The valet was warm and very fast, the gentleman who checked us in was very thorough and nice to work with. The room was a corner suite and it was old world cozy. We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is wonderful also.
We stayed here for 2 nights in mid-February.The hotel location is very good, walking distance to Pike Place Market. I also walked to Starbucks Reserve Roastery Seattle, although it was a bit far. (about 15 minutes)The room is very clean and perfect. There was free coffee in the room from Starbucks, and there was also a paper cup from Starbucks, but it looked dirty and I didn't feel like using it. There were also two free bottles of water, but one had signs of being opened and was about 2/3 empty. It is better to check when checking in.The hotel entrances are on the Olive Way side and the 4th Avenue side, but the 4th Avenue side cannot be opened unless you have your room card key. There are no convenience stores nearby, so if you don't have enough water with the two free bottles in the room (in my case I could only use one bottle), you can buy it in advance, or go to ``H'', which is about a 5-minute walk away. Mart Downtown Seattle" (until 9:30 p.m.)However, there are a lot of people who have a bad atmosphere near Westlake Park on Pine Street on the south side of the hotel, so it's best to stay away.We avoided going out on the 4th Avenue side, instead using Olive Way.
An average stay after having to call to get hot water in the tub and the heat turned on. They over charged me by $400 and it is still not resolved by the third call. It was my husband's 78th birthday and I will NEVER stay there again.
The hotel is perfectly located to get around downtown Seattle. It is walking distance to Pike Place and the waterfront and a short monorail ride to Seattle center. The staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The valets were very quick with helping us unload and retrieving the car when we wanted to leave. We stayed in a Deluxe Two Queen Suite. It is the perfect size for two adults and two teens (one of them took the couch). It has two separate bathrooms, making getting ready easier. There isn't much of a view, if that is what you are looking for.
The mayflower hotel is an older style hotel that's very convenient woth great service.Check in and checkout were great. The hotel staff was nice and the room was picked up daily with towel changes.Room was roomy. They have food at the bottom floor and a bar. A walk to most things on Seattle. The bathroom could use a little update. The style of bathroom. Made it to where mold easily grew.
This hotel is a 5-minute walk to Pike Market, a 3-minute monorail ride to Seattle Center & a 15-minute walk to Pioneer Square. Truly in the heart of Seattle! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, we felt very well taken care of. Andalucca was a lovely spot for Breakfast & Oliver's was a great place to spend happy hour. I would highly recommend staying here.
Staff was great. Everyone was helpful. It was an easy walk to everythingThe hotel is nice, but the owners need to put some $$ into it before it goes too far. The pillows are past due, and the bed was OK but when sleeping my feet were higher than my head.
I recently stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle with my fiancee and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location in the heart of downtown made it easy to explore the city and its surrounding areas. Additionally, the hotel's elegant decor, from the grand lobby to the charming guest rooms, added to the overall ambiance and made for a truly relaxing stay. I highly recommend the Mayflower Park Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient getaway in Seattle.
Great location next monorail station so you can grab a ride to space needle/pacific science center. You can walk four blocks south to Pike Market. Historic hotel well maintained, rooms are a touch smaller but who cares. Highly recommended.
The Mayflower Park is a grand old hotel and one of the best places to stay in downtown Seattle. It's an independent, family-owned hotel - rare in America's big cities. They have exceptionally spacious rooms and very comfortable furnishings compared to corporate hotels. The location is very central, on the same block as Westlake Center. Their bar is very nice as well. Overall, Mayflower is a wonderful place to stay and I strongly recommend it!
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location near Westlake Station and the Pike Place Market area. What set it apart was the attentiveness, helpfulness, and kindness of their staff. We felt welcome and well cared for. Thank you for amazing hospitality!
Stay was great. The highlight was definitely the service. Huge shoutout to Jillian for helping me with a small problem and dealing with it exceptionally.
A great work trip in the books, the staff here went above and beyond. Being welcomed by Andrew and team and greeted at every entrance was a nice touch.
I was amazed by the service. The front desk staff are so lovely! The rooms are so tidy and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again 🙂
I’ve stayed here four times now and this will be my last. It is not a good hotel. They never acknowledge loyalty. Location is average. No decent breakfast just a dodgy coffee and stale pastry in a makeshift bar. No cooked breakfast offering at all. No room service. Noisy rooms. And cleaners start banging their carts from 7am. So many better options in the area.
We stayed here for a Blue Jays game. Very nice hotel. We needed a wheelchair accessible room that slept 4 and was very happy with what we had. The location made it manageable to walk to the game and the next day we only had to go down the block to enjoy the waterfront.
Perfect location, close walking distance to Pikes Market and Lumen Field. The only con was that our room smelled very strong of smoke from the fireplace. When we checked in, the staff instructed us to open the window and let the air circulate. That fixed most of the smell, the rest didn’t bother us. The staff did waive the hotel fees for us to accommodate.Otherwise, this was our second time staying here and we would stay here again!
My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions--great location from which to attend Elliott's Oyster New Year. Definitely boutique with fun and eclectic decor in a revamped Seattle building.Service has always been great, but this last trip was especially good--hospitality was unparalleled from valet and desk staff; just fantastic. We booked a suite with fireplace, and the fireplace burned ACTUAL WOOD which was fun and just showed how a classic building can be put to excellent purpose as a hotel. Also, the suite itself was giant and well-appointed--also a great value. It's very clear that staff is working hard to make staying here a great experience, and they are succeeding!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Alexis! This is our second time coming to Seattle and both times we chose to stay here. The location is perfect! Easy access to many attractions! Just a few minutes of a walk and you’re at Pike Place Market! The hotel is well kept and the decor is mid-century modern and artsy! Super chic and chill. (Actually inspired my home decor). The staff is very friendly. I told them it was a special birthday for my brother and they worked with us to get a room upgrade so that it was a memorable stay. He absolutely loved it! We both did! We both said that whenever we come back to visit Seattle, the Alexis will always be our home!
Now that I am Home from my very first trip to Seattle, I wanted to share my amazing experience at this hotel. My spouse and I arrived from Portland, Oregon at the last moment with a reservation made while walking there from two blocks away and we were treated to two of the most amazing people we have ever met. Jillian and Charlie went above and beyond and some to make us feel welcome, safe and best of all, Informed. We are so new to this place that we would never have had the great time we had without these two.The room we were checked into was absolutely stunning, this place is a gem! The building the hotel is in has some major history and the door man is very happy to inform you of some of its Golden past.Overall, this was an amazing place and all we really had time to do was sleep. Thank you both for an unforgettable time in a new place, you really helped put our stress at ease.
Parking Review: If you have an oversized vehicle go to BUTLER GARAGE you might have difficulty finding a parking spot anywhere else. I have a Toyota Sienna with a Thule roof box on top that makes the height between 6 1/2 - 7 feet. It was too big for most parking garages and the outdoor parking lots were pretty ambiguous on whether you could actually park overnight and how you would be charged. Butler garage is 7 minute walk from the hotel. They charged $45 for a 24 hour parking.Room Review: Our room was nicely decorated. It had a high ceiling and good window views. The beds were super comfortable. The guest amenity package thing was very confusing!!!
We took a weekend trip up to Seattle from the Portland area and stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is up-scale and the decor is well-appointed but not overly so to where it’s pretentious. Staff was very accommodating and the valet service was excellent, always having an attendant ready to fetch your vehicle when needed. We never waited more than 5-10 minutes. The room was very clean and despite being in the heart of Seattle, insulted noise from the outside very well. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!
Hotel is okay, I would not stay here again. It's a really big inconvenience that there aren't any food options at the hotel. You have to go out for everything and no room service. Walls are very thin and housekeeping can be heard early in the morning while trying to sleep. Bathroom door doesn't lock or close, sliding door only.Loved that there was an Aveda salon in the hotel but the Bookstore Bar is closed. Nothing on site. Very loud street noise and homeless people yelling outside the hotel at all hours.
From the moment Mika greeted us with her beautiful smile and grace to when we checked out our stay was exceptional. The service was outstanding, the valet was kind enough to retrieve our daughters back pack she forgot in our car. He even ensured that no toys were left behind! The room was great, immaculate and spacious with nice design details, and the location ideal. We will be back soon!
You have a choice between freezing to death or sleeping undisturbed. I have NEVER heard such a loud aircon system. It is like a plane is taking off when it is on. So I had to switch it off to sleep and FROZE. There is also no food offering. At all. So you can’t have breakfast at the hotel and there is nothing nearby. Staff are friendly especially the gentleman concierge. He was lovely and helpful.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel in Seattle. The staff was beyond amazing and it felt like walking home after the end of the day. Mika deserves an honorable mention for keeping us entertained and so well taken care of. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a great stay!
They should open a kitchen for continental breakfast or room service. Other than that, it was an truly swanky yet comfortable room with a great view (King Premium). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The book case bar in front of lobby had great cocktails and lovely selection of scotch.
This was a really nice hotel for the price. The room felt luxurious. I wouldn't bring kids here, but it's a great place to stay for adults. The room comes with complementary hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner for those traveling with limited liquids. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The front staff was super accommodating and they were available to answer any questions. The only downside was my room was in a different section of the building from the gym, so while the gym was on the same numbered floor, it actually was not accessible unless I went down the lobby and back up a different set of elevators.
I originally requested a room with windows that opened. When I checked in, I was told I was upgraded to a bigger room. The front desk lady was very nice and gave me good suggestions about some nearby restaurants with vegetarian options. The room was spacious and clean and pretty quiet, and had really nice power outlets including USB-C chargers that were able to slowly charge my laptop even without using a power fob. And I assume a fine TV although I never used it...But I have to say I was disappointed that there was NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM, a pretty gloomy view over a crowded street, my windows did NOT open, no room service options, no coffee in the room and only a shower.I was also surprised that when I went out for an early morning walk, when I came back I found my key didn't work to open the front door. There was no way back into the hotel without calling the front desk. Fortunately I had brought my phone with me, but what if I hadn't?
We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon traveling through the PNW and it was without a doubt our favorite place. Jillian at the front desk went above and beyond when we mentioned it was our honeymoon! We were able to check in early and had a gorgeous, spacious room with lots of amenities. The location is super close to everything downtown has to offer and felt safe. Every staff member we encountered was so kind and warm! We would definitely stay again.
