This hotel has the best free breakfast, everything is hot, fresh and everything anyone would want to have for breakfast. Elsie and Carmen have done a phenomenal job and should be commended for their hospitality. I would definitely stay again at this hotel, it met all our expectations.
When we booked a one night stay while traveling North through California, our confirmation came via email stating our booking is confirmed for 22 days from now. This was a mistake so we just canceled the booking and figured we'd straighten it out when we got to the front desk. The front desk said they could not do anything because it was canceled and that we would have to pay a cancellation fee for the full amount because of the rate code we received. Even though we were right there in front of them paying for the same night. The girl gave me the number for customer relations and of course it was impossible to get through to an actual person. So as I am writing this, we are still working on trying to straighten out this cancellation fee of 100%.Update: upon leaving, in the morning, I was approached by a wonderful manager named "Maria", Maria was fantastic and notified us that she had rectified our issue and apologized that the front desk was not authorized to do this type of thing. (Dear corporate headquarters), please allow your front desk people to do simple things when it comes to customer service. Our issue should not be a manager level event and while I have you, make your online or over the phone customer service better because right now it sucks. Trust in your people, people like Maria who was very wonderful to deal with.
We stayed at this hotel while in the area for a family event. The two-night stay was comfortable and met all of our needs. I would recommend that you bring your charging block because there were none in the room. That was the only issue we had during our stay. Our room was spotless and they even had full bottles of Dove soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion for guest use in the bathroom. That was a very nice surprise. While there we made use of both the pool and gym and found them to be clean and well maintained. We would like to thank Guadalupe for the wonderful food and service in the dining room. There were plenty of tasty options to choose from. Thank you to the maids who took very good care of our needs. We highly recommend this hotel and will return.
This place is well managed and it shows. Rooms are very comfortable. No continental breakfast. It's hot and very tasty! (Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and biscuits and gravy. Good job Lathrop team!
Have been here several times now the rooms are always clean and the staff are friendly if your have questions or requests they are very helpful. The indoor heated pool and hot tub are relaxing after a long day and plenty of places to eat close by. There breakfast bar is always stocked with fresh food
I stayed here because my children were playing in a soccer tournament nearby. First off the walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbor is saying. I had a group of people next door that basically partied all night and did not let us sleep. I called the front desk multiple times with no answer until finally someone picked up the phone and said they would call the room for a noise complaint. That did not do anything because they kept being loud only this time moved the party outside as well in front of my room door. I called the front office again because they were vaping and it was coming into my room. Please don’t stay here if you want a good night sleep. Also the room was dirty. I wish I could get my money back because this has been the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.
Very nice get away the only thing was the neighbors they were quite loud all the night til morning but the room was nice comfortable updated an I loved it will be booking here again
Easy check in process. Staff nice. Rooms under cleaned. Burn marks all over. Crack house type location. Spent the whole night listening to a party 2 doors down and a bum who smoked cigs outside our door loudly arguing with his personal demons. Do not recommend for families. Will not return.
Me, my husband and our two daughters stayed here six nights. Let's start with the bad. The bed cover had what looked like a cigarette burn. The floor was also dirty, not like visible dirt but as if they swept and didn't mop. My daughter took her shoes off first thing and within an hour her socks were black. Other than that our stay was good. The housekeepers were nice and pleasant. The environment was pretty chill. It had nice closet space and a big dresser.
Honestly, read the reviews and everything looked alright. Staff was even nice at check in.However, after asking for a few things it seemed like I was annoying the girl at thefront. Kids said the same thing when they went down. Now mind you, I know the place is cheap and it’s not a five star hotel but what follows should still never happen. We go to get the kids in bed, and there is blood on the sheets. When I called down to let them know, I was told I can come down and get the sheets for the bed and remake it myself (was shocked by that) So I get the sheets, go to change the sheets and notice that there is a massive yellow spot on the mattress protector. Now I go down to the office and show the pictures to the agent at front. She says she has to call her manager to see if I can be moved. He answers and says that he will not move us. All the while, the front agent is implying that we made the messes by saying, “they’ve been here for a few hours”over and over. Absolute worst experience ever at a hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. In fact, I would implore you to avoid it. If you happen to not mind that stuff, which you should, it is cheap and close to great wolf lodge. Photos are with the comment, I will also be taking pictures of the room to make sure no backlash will be had from this very honest review.
