Electronic blackout curtain did not work, kitchenette was not clean and shower fixtures were covered in grime... upon check out I mentioned to front desk hoping they would make it right and was completely ignored... $242 for 1 night I would expect more from a HILTON, ESPECIALLY FOR AN HONORS MEMBER. NOT HAPPY
Great place to rest along I-70 for our family on a road trip. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our family appreciated healthy whole grain waffles and berries at breakfast, along with PBS Kids on the tv, and coloring pages with crayons too. We also appreciated outdoor seating options for meals with our dog. A separate bedroom with access to the bathroom via the main room allowed us parents to stay up past our kiddos bedtime, and the fan setting on the a/c unit provided white noise and air circulation for better sleep. Thanks for being so family friendly!
Room wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't for the awful terrible smell. We're talking wet dog filthy smell. I couldn't even enter the room. My husband who can't smell crap could even smelled this! Just standing in the doorway made me dry heave. We went to the front desk about it and she tried to get us a different room but the only other thing available was a king suite and we have 6 people. She even called another hotel but they didn't have anything to actually fit us all either. I asked if the room could be vacuumed because I really felt the smell was because it wasn't cleaned after a dog stayed in the room but she didn't know where the vacuum was. (Neither does housekeeping apparently) We turned on the exhaust fans and went to Walmart and bought some cleaning supplies and a pet enzyme for the carpets. After a good cleaning and having the door propped open for an hour while we sat in the hall those of us that couldn't enter the room without vomiting were able to come in. I'm allergic to dogs and never had a problem staying in other pet friendly hotels. Even on my allergy meds I had trouble here. There was quite a bit of dog hair on the top of one of the beds and even toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The room simply was not cleaned well. The floor was sticky so I hand mopped it with some Lysol wipes. Carpet was sticky in spots too. I don't know why they charge a pet fee to those with pets because they obviously don't use it for cleaning up after them. The lady at the front desk last night was extremely friendly and helpful. She said she's told higher-ups they should shampoo after animals are in the room, maybe listen. Guy at front desk this morning made it seemed like this is a common known problem here. At least one of your rooms are clean properly now. Your welcome.Pictures are of toothpaste in the sink before I washed it, I don't know what on the lamp shade, the Lysol wipe after I wiped down the bathroom counter and the view out the window.
Filthy hotel!!! I stayed here because of the rating but realized this is for people who cannot Afford the nearby casino and college kids. Litter all over the main entrance exterior and inside. Random dirty towels laying around in the pool area at 1am. Leaves around the entry’s from last winter. Cigarette buds all over and half smoked ones on the pillars that a guy used to smoke while unloading my luggage. The comforter had a brown stain on it. I travel all over and this one made the list to review on. The current reviews are perplexing they would have any positive. Shame on the Hilton hotel chain.
First room the floors were sticky and the room smelled sour and like pee. So I changed rooms and the second was clean, but smelled like cigarette even though it’s a non smoke floor. Not on the nice side for a home2. Also I was informed that they have no order for pet rooms. Normally they try to put pets on the first floor and then second and third as they fill up. And some have pet free rooms. This one just allows pets in all the rooms I guess! Not good if you have bad cat allergies like me
Wow! We had an amazing experience! The customer service was out of this world!! Every single staff member we came across had outstanding customer service, from the maid, the desk staff and the breakfast crew, we were so impressed at how polite, helpful, overly kind and respectful. The pool was the perfect temperature, the spa was amazing also! We will be back if he ever need a hotel and their is a home 2 suites we will be staying!
Breakfast buffet not well stocked. Sausage patties floating in strange liquid are often pale and barely browned. I have never see hotel scrambled eggs have a green tinge as often as I have at this location.eggs are extremely overcooked. Buffet staff are rude and grunt at you.Buffet station is often messy. You can actually hear staff in kitchen discussing holding off on making replacement items (eggs), until 9am, so they don't have to make them again. Would strongly suggest a mystery shopper having breakfast there a few days in a row for full effect.
Well...for $150.This room is super small. Smells. Musty. The lady at the desk was just not very happy to be there.Online said no deposit... there was one.Online said there was a lonestar steak house gift card. It was after 10, so we didn't get one. Not even for the next day. Like I stated, she was not nice about it. One of the reasons we came.Said there were only rooms downstairs next to the breakfast area, then magically found me one on the 3rd floor when i said I was an IHG member. When you come to a hotel that you are a part of a rewards club, you expect it to be nice and it is not, that stinks.Check-in lady Tomi was not the lady for the night shift. She was ready for bed. Coughing into her hand, which held my ID. Grumpy or tired- SHE WAS NEVER KIND. LIKE I WAS BOTHERING HER. SHE WAS WALKING AWAY FROM THE DESK WHEN I WALKED IN -HER FIRST WORDS TO ME WAS NOT HELLO OR GOOD EVENING, IT WAS" YOU CHECKING IN," I SAID I WOULD LIKE A ROOM." I'LL SEE, AND THREW HER KEYS ON THE COUNTER.I might have read it, her all wrong, but after a long day driving....we want to be welcomed and treated to comfort. Our last two times have been sad at IHG. Might go elsewhere.Do the managers read these bad reviews and do something?
We were first assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned. Next room was nice. Good sound barrier. Breakfast service lady spoke to people kindly but did not behave that way. She seemed to have an "assistant" that did almost nothing. Coffee tasted terrible.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Booking was easy, and so was check-in. It's a very clean hotel and rooms. Lots of amenities such as an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, meeting rooms, computer area, Longhorn Steakhouse is attached to the building, and free breakfast in the morning. The breakfast food is really good. The rooms have the Dove soaps and lotion dispensers in the stand-up shower and at the bathroom sink. Hairdryer in bathroom. A cute little knook with a microwave, a coffee pot, and a refrigerator that is nice and cold. A closet with an iron and iron board and a place to store or hang items. The TV has a nice lineup of channels, including HBO. The location is excellent. It's right off the interstate and surrounded by a lot of shopping, dining, and gas stations. The staff is excellent. The price is okay for what you get. Plenty of parking. The only con is that the wifi isn't the best, not very strong, and it goes in and out. We would stay here again and definitely recommend.
1st thing we noted when parking was a terrible smell (sewage like). Front desk worker said there is a water treatment plant near by and that happens sometimes. We were unable to smell it inside. Special request of room location was accommodated, even with same day reservation. Room was okay, clean, but could use an update. We left for late dinner, and when we returned, the automatic doors opened to lobby, but no front desk worker was around. We noted the very limited handicapped parking spots available. Breakfast was good, and kitchen staff even gave us ice for our cooler since we had forgot before turning in our keys.
I recently had a wonderful stay at this location. The man working at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was well managed, and there was a nice selection from which to choose.
